The Knights exited Atlanta after a cruel three-game sweep at the hands of the Cincinnati Cyclones.  Their last game was a 2-0 shutout loss at the Omni.  Public address announcer Rick "Gator" Gangi announced that he hoped to see everyone next season, but the words rang empty, and the lights were turned out on the Atlanta Knights.  The move to Quebec was announced shortly thereafter.
